Drilling a panel

Mother's Day - 10:30AM a quick trip to buy a few more 0.125" (3.2 mm) cobalt drill bits and some flowers for my wife before we go out for a celebratory brunch at noon, since my son will be at work later in the afternoon an evening meal and get together is not in the cards. I end up waiting in line for forty minutes trying to buy flowers at the local Safeway - Mental note: - do not go out to buy flowers on the morning of Mother's Day because every other person in the city has the exact same agenda.

I barely get back home in time to go out for brunch and have good intentions to continue work on the ULTIMA after the meal and festivities.

3:30PM; we get back and I start drilling holes on the double skin floor panel. I survive all of two hours in the garage before my fingers get numb with the 2 degree Celsius temperatures. I reluctantly clean up and put away the tools and sweep up the weekend's worth of metal shavings, move the ULTIMA dolly to one side, drive the other car back into the garage and call it quits to watch the previously pre-recorded F1 race from Spain. . Hoping for better weather next weekend.
