Title Cobalt drill bit
Description Cobalt bits are the only ones to use - Titanium coated and high speed steel bits dull within a few holes especially when drilling into chassis members. I also sourced industrial quality cobalt bits which are consederably cheaper to purchase in bulk - about $0.80 USD each.

Title Bulk inexpensive titanium industrial bits with double ends
Description Bulk inexpensive titanium industrial bits with double ends are great for the aluminum alloy panel drilling but not very good for drilling into the chassis

Title Drill press
Description I found the drill press invaluable for accurate clean (center punched) panel drilling - the press was equipped with bulk double ended titanium bits, which worked well for the alloy panels. Only holes inaccessible by the press were hand drilled
