Centering the Steering wheel and rack using a marked up tape with the circumference subdivided at intervals on the steering rod - the circumference is 60mm (approx) The tape was subdivided at 6mm intervals to represent one tenth of the circumference - the centre is therefore one complete revolution plus two tenths or 1.2 (half of 2.4 lock to lock)
